Wadi Dawkah is located on the northern side of Salalah and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Dhofari Frankincense is produced here by a large natural garden of over 1200 Frankincense Trees. An informational signboard is located at the park’s main entrance and explains how sap is tapped.
The lost city of Wubar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Wubar ruins were discovered in a village called Shisr in the Dhofar Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman.
